Clogged Vents

Dryers can produce a large amount of lint, and even with regular cleaning of the lint trap, lint can still pass through and clog up the vent making air harder to escape the exhaust system. You need to make sure the machines are up and running smoothly and efficiently.
Small rodents and birds can even get inside the vents and build their nests, and this can block the air from escaping as well.
Build-up and blockages are the perfect playground for mold to form and spread and when the dryer vent becomes clogged it can overheat. Overheating can lead to decreased dryer function and efficiency and could cause a fire hazard. You want to make sure your dryer is cleaned out at least every year for optimal efficiency.
